Tuzla is the last area belonging to the city of Istanbul with its Asian side. It extends on the banks of the Sea of Marmara and is close to Sabiha Gokcen International Airport. It includes many service facilities, including health, educational and entertainment institutions, in addition to land and sea transportation that connects Tuzla to the rest of Istanbul and to the cities of Yalova and Bursa.
