Turkish real estate sales in the first half of this year exceeded half a million properties and reached 545 thousand and 74 properties.
This is during the period between January and June, according to the latest report issued by the Turkish Statistics Authority.
June 2024 sales:
- Türkiye recorded 79,313 property sales in June before the past.
- Istanbul topped the list of states with the most real estate sales, with 13,25 properties.
- The capital, Ankara, followed second with 6,866 properties.
- Then Izmir is third, 4361 properties.
- Ardahan Province topped the list of cities that sold the least property, selling 34 properties.
- Then Hakkâri comes in second place with 40 properties and Tunceli with 44 properties.
More than six thousand mortgaged properties:
- Sales of mortgaged Turkish real estate reached 6,813 properties.
- Of the total Turkish properties sold.
- It reached 12,176 mortgaged properties since the beginning of this year.
Other properties:
- Other real estate sales amounted to 72,500 properties last June
- Increased by 3.3% compared to the same month of last year.
- While the entire period in the first half of this year recorded the sale of 439,659 other properties.
New apartments:
- The Turkish Statistics Authority said in its report that the country sold 25,425 new properties.
- The total number between January and June reached 173,324 properties.
Used apartment sales:
- Sales of used apartments reached 53,888 properties last June.
- The total number between January and June reached 371,750 properties.
Foreigners’ purchases of Turkish real estate in June 2024:
- The Turkish official authority followed up in its report on Turkish real estate sales.
- Announcing the registration of foreigners purchasing 1,440 properties last June.
- Antalya tops the list of cities for the most sale of its properties to foreigners, 539 properties were sold.
- Then Istanbul came second with 478 properties.
- The third place went to Mersin with 116 properties.
Foreigners buy more than ten thousand properties:
- Turkish real estate sales to foreigners in the first half of 2024 reached 10,461 properties.

- Then the Iranians come second and the Ukrainians third.
