Turkish real estate sales exceed a quarter of a million properties in the first quarter of 2024, according to the official statement issued by the Turkish Statistics Authority yesterday, Thursday, April 18.
More than one hundred thousand properties sold in March:
- Türkiye recorded the sale of 105,394 properties last March.
- 19 thousand and 40 properties were sold in Istanbul alone.
- To top the list of cities with the most real estate sales in the aforementioned month.
- Second place goes to Ankara with 9,523 properties sold.
- Izmir comes third with 6,413 properties.
Turkish real estate sales in the first quarter of 2024:
- The Turkish Statistics Authority said that the country recorded the sale of 279,604 properties.
- This occurred during the period between the months of January and March.
- That is, in the first quarter of the current year 2024.
Mortgaged properties:
- 12,880 properties last March.
- 27,622 properties in the first quarter.
Other properties:
- Other real estate sales increased by 15.3% in March compared to the previous month
- It reached 92 thousand and 514 properties.
- A total of 521,982 other properties between January and March.
Direct real estate:
- Direct real estate sales increased by 4.6% in March 2024, compared to the same month last year.
- Türkiye sold 34,399 properties directly.
- The first three months of the current year recorded the sale of 88,256 properties.
More than 70 thousand used properties:
- The sale of used real estate in Turkey during last March amounted to 70,955 properties, with a share of 67.4% of the total sales.
- 191,348 properties between January and March.
Turkish real estate sales to foreigners March 2024:
- Foreigners bought 1,778 properties last March.
- With a share of 1.7% of total Turkish real estate sales.
- Istanbul ranked first in Turkish real estate sales to foreigners, with 652 properties.
- Antalya ranked second with 618 properties.
- Mersin comes third with 151 properties.
Foreigners are buying thousands of Turkish properties in the first quarter of 2024:
- Turkish real estate sales to foreigners in the first quarter of this year amounted to 5,685 properties.
